Anash and the Legacy of the Sun-Rock - World Premiere
Anash and the Legacy of the Sun-Rock tells the compelling tale of young Anash’s mission as he tries to re-unite all parts of the Sun-Rock to fulfill a prophecy to attain peace and protect a fragile land.  This half hour, animated six part series presents a unique blend of live action and animation.  With all animation happening in studio, Rat Creek Design is pleased to announce the World Premiere on APTN airing Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 9:30AM ET/PT repeating at 7:00PM and Saturdays at 10:00AM ET/PT.

2006 Alberta Film & Television Awards NOMINATION, March 29, 2006
Rat Creek Design is pleased to announce their recent Alberta Film & Television Awards nomination for Mona talks about Shelter in Place, a Hired Gun/Shadowland Production.  Together with Keith Sun (Moving Castle IS), Rat Creek has been recognized for “Best Graphic Artist/Animator”, a category receiving a record number of entries this year. The 2006 Alberta Film & Television Awards are scheduled to take place April 29, 2006.

Rat Creek Design recently completed a 30 second spot as part of AADAC’s tobacco reduction public awareness campaign.  Together with Calder Bateman and Bear Productions, Rat Creek delivered a unique and edgy product artistically combining detailed graphical and video elements with high definition, live action footage.

Joe FM's Stickman in the Third Dimension! November 2005
Hired Gun Productions and Rat Creek Design recently completed a 3D 60 second spot as a part of the highly successful Edmonton based Joe FM animated stickman commercials.


Joe FM's station manager challenged Ben Babchishin at Hired Gun to come up with an innovative twist in the ongoing saga of the stickman and his wacky journeys through eighties and nineties music videos. The decision was made to do a 3D commercial, cardboard glasses and all; a unique and challenging idea that hasn't been tried in Edmonton advertising in many years (if ever)!...read more
